Congratulations to the Taft Ultimate Impact Winterguard team who earned a 6th place finish at the State South Zone Championship in Mission, TX, at Palmview High School. The team missed a Top 5 finish by only 1/10 of a point.
The team has come a very long way in the past 5 months and to earn this finish in the Scholastic Novice Red Division against other schools such as San Benito, Port Isabel, McAllen Rowe, Brownsville Porter, Beeville A.C. Jones and Raymondville is a major accomplishment. Thank you to Coach Mariah Hinojosa for all of her dedication and work with the team to build their skills and confidence.
