Classroom Lessons

The counselor presents lessons                                                 

in every classroom (PK-5) that

teach skills such as conflict resolution,

bully awareness and prevention, test preparation,

study skills, valuing diversity, character education,

social skills and career exploration.

Individual Counseling

Short-term individual counseling is

available to students at the request of

parents/guardians, students, and teachers to

meet the needs of all students expressing difficulties

dealing with academic achievement, personal concerns,

normal developmental tasks, etc.

When a structured series of individual counseling sessions is

deemed appropriate, parental permission is requested and parental

reinforcement of concepts introduced in counseling sessions is encouraged.

Small Group Counseling

Group counseling is available to all

students and may be requested by students,

parents/guardians or teachers. Plans are in the

works on small group counseling.

Parental permission letters will be sent home

prior to group participation. More information to come on topics and details.
