Dear Greyhound Nation,
I am excited to become a part of the Greyhound family as the Principal of Taft High School. I respect the strong emphasis on education in this community. I am committed to continuing this legacy and providing a high-quality education for all students. We have a very dedicated staff and motivated students. It’s amazing to see our students engaged in so many extra-curricular programs. I look forward to supporting student success in all aspects of their academic lives.
I have called this area of the Coastal Bend home for many years. I have spent the past 13 years in education. I was a science teacher and coach for the first 9 years of my career. I have spent the past 4 years in administration. I am very passionate about creating an educational environment where students are excited about learning.
My goal is to have open communication with all members of the Greyhound family. I encourage students, parents and community partners to reach out if I can assist in any way. Together we can continue the Taft High School tradition of helping students develop and achieve any goals they want to accomplish.
