Taft ISD Parents/Guardians,
All Taft ISD schools and facilities will be closed on Friday, January 21, 2022. The school closure is a precautionary measure being taken due to the predicted freezing temperatures and precipitation overnight and the potential of hazardous road conditions on Friday morning.
While all Friday morning extracurricular activities are canceled, extracurricular coaches and sponsors will communicate the status of afternoon and/or evening activities as the weather is expected to improve throughout the day. Extracurricular coaches and sponsors will communicate through social media, district website, and Remind app.
We look forward to the safe return of all staff and students on Monday, January 24, 2022.
